Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)
STAT Preparation Tutoring
The Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) is a two-hour aptitude test that demonstrates your capability of undertaking future tertiary study. The test results help institutions decide which applicants to consider for their courses. Tertiary institutions use applicants’ STAT scores, together with other information available to them to make decisions about offers of places in their courses.
The test has several versions but for entry to Queensland institutions, the STAT Multiple Choice is used. This version has 70 multiple-choice questions, half verbal (English & Literature) and half quantitative (Maths and Science). The questions focus on your ability to process, analyse and understand information presented in different ways, like graphs, tables, diagrams, poems and cartoons.
