What is an Enrolment Interview?

An Enrolment Interview is a meeting with the School Principal, Cathy Pappalardo, with your prospective Student and yourself, the Parent or Guardian. In this interview Cathy Pappalardo seeks to get to know your student by learning about their educational and career goals to determine how and if the Hubbard’s Program can assist them to achieve their goals.

Having an Enrolment Interview is a good way to:

  • Discover and learn more the program that Hubbard’s offer our students, and discuss how it may may suit your student’s educational needs

  • Seek career counselling

  • View our school in person and potentially meet some of our staff

  • Discuss relevant QTAC schedules

  • Find answers to any other questions you may have

Through this process, Cathy Pappalardo will draw on her knowledge and experience as a School Principal and as the President of the Queensland Association of Student Advisors (QASA) to assist your student to assess all of their options.

In circumstances where your meeting is not practical due to distance, an interview by telephone or video conference can be arranged.

What to bring for an Enrolment Interview?

To ensure your queries are answered satisfactorily during the consultation, the following documentation will help inform the interview process:

  • Proof of Age (with photo - i.e. school id / driver's licence / passport)

  • Most recent academic record and NAPLAN Results

  • In case of medical condition - supporting documentation from health professional

  • Any court orders relating to the student

What happens after the interview?

If your student is successful they will move onto the next stage of the intake process. You will receive a Letter of Offer in your emails from Cathy Pappalardo, and you will be invited to fill out the Enrolment Agreement.

The Enrolment Agreement includes a non-refundable $500 fee which must be completed, paid, and submitted for full acceptance of your student’s enrolment into Hubbard’s School.
